  6. Fanart! I haven’t been doing any sort of proper fanart since 6 years ago, when I drew Sakura and Syaoran from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles; and since then I swore of fanart-ing until BBC Sherlock.
Oh, Sherlock, Sherlock, Sherlock. I just can’t help myself. Its an obsession that I honestly don’t mind fangirling over. It’s that good.
I highly recommend this show to anybody with a decent brain who doesn’t mind being intellectually stimulated via Moffat and Gatiss’ modern-day version of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes series.
Watch it. Watch it. I daare ya.

This is 2 hours’ worth of work, done on photoshop. I reeeaally have to start working on my photoshop skills. I am getting slow.

Brown bombay ink vs. black indian ink; DRAGONS version.
I didn’t realise I bought non-waterproof black ink, so my black ink dragon painting kinda got botched up. :’(

  10. Scanner at home isn’t working, so I took the chance of taking a photo of everything together instead.

Bombay Brown Indian Ink and Ashley brushes were harmed in the production of these 4 pieces. I loved using them, so I might actually get a bigger range of these Bombay Ink colors.

I referenced from photos, and maybe next i’ll try drawing landscapes. :)

  12.
During the past 3 months of school in Digipen my art supplies have been secretly breeding behind my back and grew to A LOT.
Because I just want to; I’ve listed them all down.
From top left:
Mungyo Pastel set;
Colour palette;
Van Gogh watercolour set (DAMN EXPENSIVE but worth every penny);
Kneadable eraser;
White poster paint (because white is a must);
Willow brand medium-sized charcoal;
Pencil leads (0.5 and 0.9);
Bombay Ink (brown);
Grey-toned Copic markers(W2-W8; C0-C8);
Pen nibs (Up-nib, G-nib, Crow Quill nibs);
Post-it notes (hey I’m still in school I do take notes now and then.);
Triangular eraser;
Black India Ink(in India it’s called Chinese ink. whut.);
Sanguine compressed pastel (this is amaaazing stuff. Pastel usually crumbles easily and smudges like nobody’s business; but this brand is pretty durable and is not brittle at all. Someone as rough as me can use it with no worries at all.);
Copic Marker Set 36A and 36B.
From bottom-left:
SAKURA brand poster colours;
Hero Pen (I use this for Live Drawing sessions. The pen has thick and thin lines that look exceptionally good on paper. Only drawback is that I have to keep refilling it every now and then.);
Paintbrushes (No.8, No.8, No.6, No.2) [I kinda nibbled on one of the No.8 brushes so I had to get another one.];
Wax color pencils (for Tone, Color and Composition Class);
Pen Nib Holder;
Medium brush pen;
Micron Markers (08, 01, 005);
White gel pen for highlights;
PILOT Signature pen (I use for character design sketches. It works better than a micron marker, and lasts twice as long);
Col-erase colour pencils! (for animation class, Scarlet red, Indigo blue and Green. Just. Green.);
Sanguine pastel pencil (for sepia sketches);
TOMBOW 2B pencil (You can never find any Tombow brand pencils in Singapore. This is my only one, and given to me by my lecturer who bought it from America. These pencils don’t break, ever.);
8B graphite pencils;
2B and 3B mechanical pencils (I keep them separate for the sake of comfort. DON’T JUDGE);
CretaColour graphite sticks and holder (charcoal and 9B);
Pencilbrush (also useful if you love only one pencil that can do thick and thin lines at once);
Electric eraser;
Pencil Eraser;
aaaaaand a penknife.
There are more, but those are mostly duplicates of these so I left them out of the picture. Not that anybody cares anyway

  13. These are bits and pieces found in my sketchbooks in the ol’ cupboard. From 2007-2009, these drawings were done back at Temasek Polytechnic when I was still experimenting with techniques and art styles…
Also this was a time when I strayed from the anime style and I NEVER LOOKED BACK bwaaahahahaa.

  14. For the sake of getting a fresh start for the New Years’, I dug through my sketchbooks and organized them. I have aboooout 10 years’ worth of sketchbooks, from 2001-2011, but the ones from my early years are too horrible for me to even bother showcasing.Instead, here’s where I just realised my love for drawing. Mostly inspired by anime (namely Cardcaptor Sakura and Digimon).It feels so nostalgic looking through these drawings.
